1. SUMMARY (09 APRIL - 15 APRIL)

Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
Near predicted monthly values. Depressions to 60% at
Vanimo 12-20 UT. Night spread F and afternoon sporadic
E observed at Niue.
Northern Australian Region:
Near predicted monthly values. Depressions to 30%
observed at Darwin and Townsville, 01-05 UT.
Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
Near predicted monthly values. Night spread F observed
at Hobart and Learmonth.
Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
Near predicted monthly values to 30% depressed. Spread
F observed.

MUFS:
Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
Near predicted monthly values. At Vanimo, MUFs were
depressed 25% at 02 UT and enhanced to 30% 10-20 UT.
At Niue, depressions to 40% were observed 00-01 and
05-06 UT; some night spread F observed.
Northern Australian Region:
Near predicted monthly values with depressions to 30%
observed at Darwin and Townsville 00-05 UT and Darwin
10-12 UT. Some night spread F observed at Darwin and
Brisbane.
Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
Near predicted monthly values. Enhancements to 30%
observed at Sydney and Canberra 14-20 UT. Night spread
F observed at Hobart.
Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
Near predicted monthly values to 30% depressed. Spread
F observed.

Near predicted monthly values during local day,
Depressed by 20% during local night.

Depressed by 20% during local day,
Near predicted monthly values during local night.
Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
Near predicted monthly values.
Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
Enhanced by 35% over the UT day.
Predicted Monthly T index for April: 6
2. FORECAST (16 APRIL - 22 APRIL)
MUFS: Expected to be near predicted monthly values with
isolated periods of depression ~20%. Depressed MUF's
possible in the later half of this forecast period due to
anticipated recurrent geomagnetic activity. Briefly
depressed after local dawn on 22Apr.
Propagation conditions: Mostly normal, with Fair conditions
for 22Apr. No SWFs expected.

3. OUTLOOK (23 APRIL - 23 MAY)
Degraded HF propagation conditions possible:
23-Apr to 24-Apr,02-May,19-May to 21-May.
