FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE

1. SUMMARY (16 JULY - 24 JULY)
K indices are in UT (0-24). For conversion to local time:
AEST = UT + 10 hours; ACST = UT + 9.5 hours; AWST = UT + 8 hours

*estimated from real time data

Moderately disturbed conditions observed 17, 20-22 Jul
in association with mass ejection activity.

There is currently an active solar region in the south-east
quadrant of the solar disk. This region has about 9 days
to go to transit the solar disk. If region evolution is
maintained, further mass ejections are likely.

2. FORECAST (25 JULY - 24 AUGUST)
Disturbed Periods:
25 Jul: minor storm (CME)
27-28 Jul: active periods possible (coronal hole)
01-03 Aug: active periods expected (coronal hole).

Best Quiet Periods:
29-31 July
04-11 Aug

PEASE NOTE:
At this time of the solar cycle, space weather conditions
are frequently determined by short timescale events, not
able to be forecasted a week in advance.
