Continuous optical observations with mainly fair seeing.


rgn 11260 (n18 w63) - Cso - Stable.
Plage scattered and faint.

rgn 11261 (n16 w37) - Dai - Appears stable.
Plage broken to scattered and normal.
Produced large flare ~0350UT.

rgn 11263 (n18 w06) - Dki - Largely stable.
Plage scattered and faint to normal.

local rgn 6407 (n19 e53) - Cro - Stable.
Plage scattered and faint.


Radiospectrograph observations: 18-1800 MHz.

  Strong broard-band type IV continuum after 0350UT.
  0350-0409UT Strong/moderate type III groups.
  0252-0410UT Weak type II burst imbedded in other activity,
    fundumantal and harmonic, estimated shock speed 600 km/s.
  Intermittent weak type III activity.
  Weak type I storm with continuum throughout period.
