Plage scattered and faint to normal before flare.
Plage still enhanced from flare at time of report.
Radiospectrograph observations: 18-1800 MHz.
0224-0233UT Strong type III group.
0225-0409UT Weak type IV continuum.
0227-0235UT Strong type II burst, fundamental and harmonic,
estimated shock speed 1600 +/-200 km/s.
Weak type III storm throughout period.
Intermittent moderate/strong type III activity.
