08/2321 Solar flare activity on UT day 09-Oct is expected to be at the
R1-R2 level. S0 solar radiation storm conditions are expected. The
solar wind speed is expected to increase to moderate to strong levels
over the UT day. G1-G2 geomagnetic conditions are expected. Global
high frequency radio propagation conditions are expected to be fair.
Maximum Usable Frequencies (MUFs) in the Australian region are
expected to become depressed by 15% compared with predicted monthly
values. Shortwave fadeouts are possible.
