Solar flare activity on UT day 18-May is expected to be at the R0
level, with a chance of R1. S0 solar radiation storm conditions are
expected. The solar wind speed is expected to be strong to very
strong. G1 geomagnetic conditions are expected, with a chance of G2
due to an anticipated CME impact in the second half of the UT day. HF
radio propagation conditions are expected to be mostly normal, with
degradations possible late in the day. Maximum Usable Frequencies
(MUFs) in the Australian region are expected to be near predicted
monthly values with depressions possible in the second half of the
day.
