Solar region AR4405 has produced an X1.4 flare at 30/0319UT. This
region is located in the southeast solar quadrant. A predominately
east directed CME has followed. On UT day 30-Mar solar flare activity
is expected to be R0, chance R1. S0 solar radiation storm conditions
are expected. The solar wind speed is expected to be moderate to
strong due to a solar coronal hole wind stream. G0-G1 geomagnetic
conditions are expected. HF radio propagation conditions are expected
to be fair to normal, with fair conditions during local night hours.
Maximum usable frequencies in the Australian region are expected to be
near predicted monthly values.
