Solar flare activity on UT day 17-Apr is expected to be at the R0
level. S0 solar radiation storm conditions are expected. The solar
wind speed is expected to be initially light, then increasing to
moderate to strong late in the UT day due to a coronal hole high speed
wind stream. Geomagnetic conditions are expected to be initially G0,
then becoming G1 later in the UT day. There is a chance for G2 periods
on 18-Apr. HF radio propagation conditions are expected to be mostly
fair to normal, though may become more degraded later in the UT day
for the southern Australian region. Maximum Usable Frequencies (MUFs)
in the Australian region are expected to be 15% depressed to near
predicted monthly values. Depressed HF conditions may be experienced
on 18-Apr for the southern Australian region.
