Solar activity on UT day 06-Sep is expected to be at R0-R1. S0 solar
radiation storm conditions are expected. The solar wind speed is
expected to be moderate. G0-G1 geomagnetic conditions are expected due
to the influence of a coronal hole wind stream. A recent small solar
filament eruption may induce planetary G1 periods during the second
half of the UT day on 07-Sep. HF radio propagation conditions are
expected to be fair to normal, with fair conditions expected during
local night hours. Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) in the Australian
region are expected to be near predicted monthly values, with minor
depressions of 15% possible after local dawn. Isolated minor shortwave
fadeouts are possible.
