On UT day 01-Oct solar activity is expected to be R1 with a chance of
R2. S0 solar radiation storm conditions are expected. The solar wind
speed is expected to be strong. The recent enhancement in the solar
wind interplanetary magnetic field has reduced. The geomagnetic field
is expected to be G1 then declining to G0 later in the UT day. HF
radio propagation conditions for southern Australian region are
expected poor to fair with MUFs 15-20% depressed, though gradually
improving as the day progresses. Northern Australian MUFs are expected
to be near predicted monthly values to 15% enhanced with good HF
communication conditions. Isolated shortwave fadeouts are possible.
