Solar activity on UT day 01-Jun is expected to be at R1-R2 levels. S2
solar radiation storm conditions are expected. The solar wind speed is
expected to be very strong. An anticipated CME impact has been
observed earlier than expected and produced G3 geomagnetic conditions
at the planetary level and G1 geomagnetic conditions in the Australian
region. Further periods of G3 conditions are expected, with a chance
of G4. HF radio propagation conditions are expected to be mostly fair
to poor. Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) in the Australian region
are expected to be near predicted monthly values to 15% depressed.
Shortwave fadeouts are probable.
