On UT day 31-Jan solar activity is expected to be R0-R1. S0 solar
radiation storm conditions are expected. The solar wind is expected to
be light to moderate. Geomagnetic activity is expected to be G0,
chance G1. A possible weak indistinct CME transit has been observed
late in the UT day on 30-Jan with little induced geomagnetic activity.
A mild increase in geomagnetic activity is expected from late 31-Jan
due to coronal hole wind streams. A glancing blow CME arrival from a
filament eruption on 30-Jan may arrive late in the UT day 01-Feb. HF
radio propagation conditions are expected to be fair to normal.
Maximum usable frequencies in the Australian region are expected to be
near predicted values to 15% enhanced. Mildly degraded HF conditions
may be experienced during local night hours for the southern
Australian region. Isolated minor shortwave fadeouts possible.
