On UT day 22-Jan solar activity is expected to be R1,chance R2. The
solar wind speed is expected to be moderate with a declining trend as
the influence from a coronal hole wind stream declines. A weak solar
wind shock arrival is expected mid to late 24-Jan from a recent M3
flare and southeast directed CME. G0 geomagnetic conditions are
expected 22-23-Jan. G1 periods may be experienced late on 24-Jan. S0
solar radiation storm conditions are expected. HF radio propagation
conditions are expected to be normal. Maximum usable frequencies in
the Australian region are expected to near predicted monthly values.
Isolated minor shortwave fadeouts are possible.
