Solar activity on UT day 24-Dec is expected to be at the R0 level.
Solar activity may increase from 26-Dec due to the possible return of
a previously active solar region. S0 solar radiation storm conditions
are expected. The solar wind speed is expected to be strong to very
strong due to a solar coronal hole wind stream. G0-G1 geomagnetic
conditions are expected. HF radio propagation conditions are expected
to be fair to normal. Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) in the
Australian region are expected to be 10-15% depressed to near
predicted monthly values. Isolated minor shortwave fadeouts are
possible from 26-Dec.
