On UT day 31-Oct solar activity is expected to be R1-R2 with a chance
for an isolated R3 flare. An R2 M7.2 flare was observed at 30/2055UT
but did not appear to have an associated CME. The solar wind is
expected to be moderate. G0 geomagnetic conditions are expected. S1
solar radiation storm conditions are expected. HF radio communication
conditions are expected to be fair to normal. Maximum usable
frequencies (MUFs) are expected to be near predicted values to 15%
enhanced for the northern Australian region. Southern Australian
region MUFs are depressed 15% after local dawn this morning.
Ionospheric absorption in the polar cap region has reduced as the
solar radiation storm declines.
