Solar activity on UT day 11-Nov is expected to be at R1-R2. The solar
wind speed is expected to be light to moderate. G0, chance G1
geomagnetic conditions are expected. S0, chance S1 solar proton
conditions are expected. Geomagnetic activity has been mildly elevated
due to the southward orientation of the interplanetary magnetic field
over the last two days. HF radio communication conditions are expected
to be initially poor to fair particularly for east coast Australia
then improving. Maximum useable frequencies (MUFs) are generally
expected to be depressed 15-30% in most of the Australian region, with
the exception of west coast Australia with Learmonth and Perth MUFs
currently near normal. MUFs are expected to recover as the day
progresses. Shortwave fadeouts are probable.
