[ips-sf] ASWFC Summary Forecast for 01 November - issued 2311UT/31-Oct-2024 [SEC=OFFICIAL]

On UT day 01-Nov solar activity is expected to be R1-R2 with a chance
for an isolated R3 flare. An R3 X2 flare was observed at 31/2120UT and
spaced based coronagraph imagery will be checked for any possible
subsequent CME. The solar wind is expected to be moderate. G0
geomagnetic conditions are expected. The in progress solar radiation
storm is expected to end today with the solar proton flux now close to
the S1 10PFU event threshold. HF radio communication conditions are
expected to be normal. Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) are expected
to be near predicted values to 15% enhanced. Shortwave fadeouts are
probable.
