Solar activity on UT day 31-Dec is expected to be at R2-R3 levels. S0
solar radiation storm conditions are expected. The solar wind speed is
expected to be moderate to strong. Geomagnetic conditions are expected
to be at the G2 level, with a chance of G3 due to an anticipated CME
impact. HF radio propagation conditions are expected to be mostly
normal to fair, although lower frequencies will likely be affected for
much of the day, with degradations possible in the second half of the
UT day. Maximum usable frequencies are expected to be near predicted
monthly values, with depressions possible in the second half of the UT
day.
