Solar activity is expected to be at the R0 level on UT day 15 Apr. A
previously active solar region may be returning. The solar wind speed
was briefly strong due to the arrival of a coronal mas ejection, and
is expected to be moderate today. Geomagnetic activity was briefly at
the G2 level, and is expected to be at G0 level today. Degraded HF
conditions observed overnight for southern Australian region. Regional
ionospheric maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) are expected to be near
mostly near normal to slightly enhanced, with degraded conditions
after local dawn this morning for southern Australian region only. No
shortwave fadeouts are expected.
