Sun May 23 09:41:42 EST 2021
Solar activity is expected to be low to moderate on UT day 23 May with
a chance of weak M-class flares. This due to the flaring potential of
active region 2824, which has already produced two M-class flares
during the last 24 hours. The solar wind speed is expected to decrease
gradually to its nominal levels. Geomagnetic conditions are expected
to be quiet with a slight chance of an isolated unsettled period.
Short wave fadeout is possible for the next three UT days (23-25 May).
Higher frequencies will be less impacted.
