Solar activity is expected to be low to moderate on UT day 9 May due
to the flaring potential of active region 2822. On 8 May this region
produced two C-class flares and several B-class flares. The solar wind
speed is expected to be mostly near its background levels. Geomagnetic
activity is expected to be mostly quiet. Mostly normal HF propagation
conditions are expected with possible short-wave fadeouts.
