Very low solar activity is predicted for UT day 24 January. The solar
wind speed is expected to be mostly near nominal to mildly elevated
levels. Geomagnetic conditions should be mostly quiet and at times may
reach unsettled levels. HF propagation conditions should be mostly
normal with mild MUF depressions possible. No short-wave fadeouts are
expected. A CME observed starting at approximately 22/2300 UT is being
further investigated to determine if it will be geoeffective. An
update on this event will be provided later.
