Solar activity is expected to be very low to low for UT day 17 April.
Solar wind speed is currently moderate and expected to remain
moderately elevated due to coronal hole effects. Geomagnetic
conditions in the Australian region are expected to be mostly
unsettled to active with a chance of isolated minor storm periods.
Normal to moderately degraded HF propagation conditions are predicted
with no short wave fadeouts. Auroral displays may be observed in
Tasmania.
