Solar activity was very low today (UT day, 28 February). Very Low
levels of solar activity are forecast for the next three UT days, 29
February to 2 March. Today, the geomagnetic conditions were quiet in
the Australian region and mostly quiet to unsettled with isolated
active periods at high southern hemisphere latitudes. Global
geomagnetic activity is expected to be mostly quiet to unsettled with
the possibility of isolated active periods for the next three UT days.
Today, the maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) were mostly near
predicted monthly values with some periods of minor depressions and
mild to moderate enhancements. MUFs are expected to be mostly near
