Solar activity is expected to be very low to low during UT day, 18
December. The solar wind is forecast to be light. A westward coronal
mass ejection observed in LASCO and STEREO images around 17/06-07 UT
is considered to be a far-side event and not expected to be
geoeffective. Global geomagnetic conditions are predicted to be mostly
quiet. HF conditions should be mostly normal with no short-wave
fadeouts expected.
