The Sun is currently spotless, Very Low solar activity is expected for
today, UT day 01 February. The Earth is currently under the influence
elevated solar wind speed associated with an equatorial coronal hole.
Geomagnetic activity in the Australian region is expected to be Quiet
to Active today and at times may even reach Minor Storm levels.
High-frequency radio communication users are advised to use slightly
lower to near predicted monthly frequencies due to very low levels of
ionising radiation from the Sun and recent disturbed geomagnetic
conditions associated with the coronal hole.
