Very low solar activity is expected for today, UT day 17 October. The
solar wind speed is currently moderate but decreasing as the influence
of a recurrent coronal hole decreases. Geomagnetic activity in the
Australian region is expected to be mostly at quiet levels.
High-frequency radio communication users are advised to use mostly
near predicted monthly frequencies.
