Very low solar activity is expected for today, UT day 4 October. The
earth is currently under the influence of moderately elevated solar
winds emanating from a small equatorial coronal hole. Geomagnetic
activity in the Australian region is expected to be mainly at quiet to
unsettled levels, but may reach active levels if the IMF Bz tend
southwards for prolonged periods. High-frequency radio communication
users are advised to use near predicted monthly frequencies, today.
