Sat Mar 3 10:45:36 EST 2018
Very low levels of solar activity are expected for today, 3 March,
with a chance of C-class flares. The solar wind speed is currently
light and geomagnetic conditions are at quiet levels. The solar wind
may become enhanced today due the possible influence of a positive
polarity northern hemisphere coronal hole. If this occurs, geomagnetic
conditions may increase to unsettled levels with the chance of active
periods. Today, MUFs are expected to be mainly near predicted monthly
values across the Australian region, with possible minor to moderate
MUF depressions in the northern Australian region during the local
day.
