Very low solar activity is expected for today, 6 July. The CME, which
was first observed in LASCO C2 imagery at 05/1125 UT possibly
associated with an erupting filament on the far-side of sun, is
unlikely to affect Earth. The solar wind speed is expected to decline
to its nominal levels later today. Geomagnetic conditions in the
Australian region are expected to be at mostly quiet levels and at
times may reach unsettled levels. High-frequency radio communication
users are advised to use near predicted monthly frequencies.
