Very low to low solar activity is expected for today, 10 February,
with a chance of C-class flares. The increased solar activity is due
to the flaring potential of Active Region 2699, which is currently
located at S09E16 and rotating towards the solar centre. The solar
wind speed is expected to increase from light to moderate values
today. The geomagnetic conditions are predicted to be mostly at quiet
to unsettled levels. High-frequency radio communication users are
advised to use near predicted monthly frequencies.
