Very low solar activity is expected for today, UT day 27 December. The
solar wind is expected stay at its nominal levels today. Geomagnetic
activity in the Australian region is expected to be mostly at quiet
levels. A warning for possible HF depression over the Southern
Hemisphere region is issued for today and for the subsequent two days.
High-frequency radio communication users are advised to use lower than
the predicted monthly frequencies. MUF depressions are expected due to
lower than predicted levels of ionising radiation from the Sun.
