Very Low solar flare activity. Light solar wind speeds. Active
geomagnetic conditions are expected over the next 12-24 hours with
possible Minor Storm levels for mid latitudes and Major Storm levels
for high latitudes due to the late arrival of the slow moving CME from
20Aug. High-frequency radio communications normal at Low latitudes
with some degraded conditions at Mid-High latitudes. Aurora sightings
possible from southernmost Australian regions (TAS and VIC coastline)
should sustained southward Bz conditions continue into local evening
and favourable viewing conditions exist.
