Very Low levels of solar flare activity are expected for today, 13
October. The Earth is still under the influence of high speed streams
emanating from a Northern Hemisphere coronal hole. As a result, the
geomagnetic conditions in the Australian region are expected to be at
Active levels. Minor Storm conditions may occur provided IMF Bz
maintained strongly southward for a prolonged period. MUFs are
expected to be moderately depressed for the next three UT days. These
depressions are the aftermath of the observed Active to Minor Storm
conditions on 11-12 October associated with the passage of the coronal
hole.
