Very low solar flare activity is expected for today, 8 May. The solar
wind speeds are at near nominal levels. The geomagnetic conditions at
Earth are expected to be at Quiet to Unsettled levels. High-frequency
radio communication users are advised to use monthly predicted
frequencies today. However, minor to moderate depressed MUFs may occur
during the local day, especially in the Northern Australian and Island
regions.
