Very low solar flare activity is expected for today, 5 May. The solar
wind speeds are at near nominal levels but may become enhanced on 5
May due to the possible arrival of the 30 April CME. As a result, the
geomagnetic conditions at Earth are expected to be Unsettled today,
with the chance of Active levels. High-frequency radio communication
users are advised to use slightly lower than the monthly predicted
frequencies today.
