Solar activity stayed at very low levels today (UT day 5 December).
Solar wind stream is expected to stay strong on 6 December and the
first half of 7 December due to the effect of a coronal hole. Very low
levels of solar activity may be expected from 6 to 8 December.
Geomagnetic activity increased up to minor storm levels today due to
the effect of a coronal hole. Geomagnetic activity may stay high up to
minor storm levels with a small possibility of isolated major storm
periods on 6 December and the first half of 7 December. Geomagnetic
activity may drop down to active and then to unsettled levels late on
7 December. Minor to moderate MUF depressions were observed today.
Minor to moderate MUF depressions are likely to be observed during the
next three days (6 to 7 December).
