Very Low to Low solar flare activity. Currently Light solar wind
speeds. The onset of a high speed solar wind stream from a large
extended northern hemisphere located recurrent coronal hole is
expected in the next 24 hours resulting in Moderate to Strong solar
wind. Geomagnetic conditions currently at Quiet levels with Active to
Minor Storm periods possible latter in the UT day and Aurora sightings
possible from southernmost Australian regions (should favourable
viewing conditions exist). With recent growth exhibited by region 2671
(N12E48) there is a small chance for short-wave radio fadeouts.
High-frequency radio communications currently normal degraded
conditions for mid to high latitudes expected due to increased
geomagnetic activity.
