Solar activity on UT day 12 June was at very low levels, with only one
weak C-class flare. Similar solar conditions are expected today 13
June. Solar winds are expected to remain at moderately enhanced levels
of greater than 400 km/s today in response to the combined effect of
the waning Northern Hemisphere coronal hole and the approaching small
equatorial coronal hole. The geomagnetic conditions are expected to be
mostly at quiet to unsettled levels in these solar wind conditions.
High-frequency radio communication conditions over the Australian
regions are expected to be slightly depressed to near monthly
predicted levels today.
