[ips-sf] IPS Summary Forecast for 05 June - issued 2344UT/04-Jun-2016 [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

Sun Jun 5 09:44:04 EST 2016
Very low solar activity is expected for 5-Jun. The solar wind speed
has started to increase under the influence of an equatorial coronal
hole. This is likely to result in geomagnetic activity reaching active
to minor storm levels. HF communications are mostly normal, with some
moderately depressed maximum useable frequencies. HF propagation
conditions and frequencies are likely to be adversely affected 6-7 Jun
as a result of the expected increase in geomagnetic activity. Aurora
sightings from Tasmania are possible, weather permitting, on 5 Jun.
