[ips-sf] IPS Summary Forecast for 19 January - issued 2335UT/18-Jan-2016 [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

Very low solar flare activity. Light solar wind. A moderate shock was
observed in the solar wind at 2056UT on 18 January, due to the arrival
of the slow, faint CME erupting late on 14 January. Geomagnetic
activity is expected to be Active to Unsettled today in the Australian
region with isolated periods of Minor to Major Storm levels at higher
latitudes such as Tasmania and the Antarctic region. High-frequency
radio communications are expected to be fair in the Australian region
and poor at higher latitudes such as Antarctica.
