Wed Dec 28 10:45:31 EST 2016
Very low solar flare activity is expected for today, 28 December,
chance of C-class flares. The Earth is still under the influence of
moderately strong solar wind streams from a positive polarity coronal
hole. However, the coronal effects are now waning. Mostly quiet to
unsettled geomagnetic conditions are expected for today.
High-frequency radio communications users are advised to continue to
use lower than the monthly predicted frequencies due to loss in
ionisation associated with the 26 December disturbed geomagnetic
conditions.
