Tue Dec 6 10:44:49 EST 2016
Low solar flare activity is expected on 6-Dec. The solar wind remains
light, though under the influence of a coronal hole the wind speed is
expected to rise from late 7-Dec. Geomagnetic conditions are currently
at quiet levels, but could reach minor storm levels late 7-Dec due to
higher solar wind speed. High-frequency radio communications are
mostly normal with some mildly depressed maximum useable frequencies
expected 6-8 Dec. Aurora sightings from Tasmania might be possible on
8-Dec.
