Solar activity on UT day 9 April was at low levels, with several weak
C-class flares all from Region 2529. This Region has undergone
significant growth in the past 24 hours and therefore is threatening
to produce more C-class flares and possibly weak chance of stronger
M-class flares in the coming days. The solar wind is trending towards
ambient levels and so the geomagnetic activity is expected to be at
mostly quiet levels today, April 10. High-frequency radio
communication conditions are expected to be moderately depressed
today, 10 April. HF users are advised to continue to use lower than
the monthly predicted frequencies for the next 24 hours.
