Very low solar flare activity. Very strong solar wind. Geomagnetic
conditions at minor storm levels. High-frequency radio communications
poor. An increase in the solar wind was detected by the ACE spacecraft
at approximately 07/1230UT associated with a recurrent coronal hole
resulting in a geomagnetic storm. There is a possibility for a aurora
sightings in Tasmania and southern tips of the Australian mainland
tonight.
