Solar flare activity was very low during 28 Nov UT and it is expected
to be very low during 29-30 Nov. Hydrogen alpha solar telescopes show
a large prominence located off the south west limb of the visible
solar disk. Coronal Hole 703 has rotated across the central meridian
into the Western Hemisphere. This feature will likely be the source of
fast wind which impacts Earth during 1-2 Dec. The solar wind speed
gradually increased during 28 Nov and is presently about 350 km/s.
Geomagnetic conditions are expected to be quiet with unsettled periods
during 29 Nov. A minor geomagnetic storm is possible during 1 Dec.
Conditions for HF radio communication are expected to be depressed in
the Australian region during 29 Nov.
