Moderate solar flare activity. Major coronal hole effects possible,
although onset is not expected until Nov 02. Light solar wind.
Geomagnetic conditions at quiet to unsettled levels. Short-wave radio
fadeouts possible. High-frequency radio communications normal, with
some local diurnal variability at low latitudes. With anticipated
geomagnetic activity, aurora sightings are likely on the evenings of
02-03 Nov from Southern Australian regions, possibly extending at
times to Central regions.
