A recently detected moderate solar wind shock most likely announces
the arrival of the 15-Mar CME. The associated IMF has initially gone
sharply northward. An increase in magnetic activity and aurora
sightings might be possible tonight (17-Mar, local time) from Tasmania
and further south if the IMF turns southward.
