Thu Feb 19 10:52:47 EST 2015
There has been an increase in numbered active regions on the solar
disk some of which have resulted in a minor increase in solar flare
activity. Low levels are expected with the small chance of moderate
activity. Coronal hole effects are subsiding and solar wind should
return to mostly light conditions. Some active and minor storm levels
of geomagnetic activity were observed at mid-high latitudes early in
the UT day of 18 Feb and then subsided. Mostly quiet to unsettled
levels are expected for today. High-frequency radio communications are
expected to be normal with isolated slightly degraded conditions at
mid to high latitudes.
