Sun Feb 15 10:28:25 EST 2015
Very Low to Low solar flare activity with a low xray background
dropping in B levels. Geomagnetic conditions were Quiet in the
Australian region during 14 Feb and they are expected to remain Quiet
for most of 15 Feb. The solar wind speed may start to increase late
today due to the arrival of a coronal hole high speed stream. This may
rise conditions to Unsettled levels with the possibility of an
isolated Active period. Maximum useable frequencies for HF
communications continue to fall gradually due to reducing levels of
ionising EUV flux, however frequencies should remain mostly at or
slightly above predicted monthly values.
